Philippians Chapter 4

Philippians 4:1 My dear brothers and sisters, I love you and want to see you. You bring me joy and make me proud of you. Continue to be faithful to the Lord.

Philippians 4:2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree in the Lord.

Philippians 4:3 For this I make a special request to my friend who has served with me so faithfully: Help these women. They worked hard with me in telling people the gospel, together with Clement and others who worked with me. Their names are written in the book of life.

Philippians 4:4 Always be filled with joy in the Lord. I will say it again. Be filled with joy.

Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be known to all men, because the Lord is coming again soon.

Philippians 4:6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:8 Brothers and sisters, think about the things that are true and honest, things that are right and pure, and things that are beautiful and good report. Yes, you must think of things that are good and beautiful.  If there be any honor, if there be any praise think on these things.

Philippians 4:9 The things you have learned and received from me.  The things you have heard and seen me do. You must do the same, then God who gives peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:10 I am very happy and thankful that you have shown again that you think of me. I know that you were thinking of me before, but you could not show it.

Philippians 4:11 I am telling you this, but not because I need anything. I have learned to be happy with what I have.

Philippians 4:12 I know how to live when I am poor and when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of how to live through any kind of situation—when I have enough to eat or when I am hungry, when I have everything I need or when I have nothing.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

Philippians 4:14 But you did the right thing when you helped me when I had trouble and needed help.

Philippians 4:15 You in the congregation of Philippi remember when I first told the Good News there. When I left Macedonia, you were the only church that talked about giving me the help I need.

Philippians 416 You also sent me things that I needed more than once when I was in Thessalonica.

Philippians 4:17 Really, it is not that I want to get gifts from you. But I want you to have the benefit that comes from giving.

Philippians 4:18 I have everything I need. I have even more than I need. I have all I need because Epaphroditus brought your gift to me. Your gift is like a sweet-smelling sacrifice offered to God. God accepts that sacrifice and it pleases him.

Philippians 4:19 My God will use his riches to give you everything you need. He will do this through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:20 Glory to our God and Father forever and ever. Amen.

Philippians 4:21 Greetings to all the believers in the town of Philippi who belong to Christ Jesus. The friends who are here with me send their greetings.

Philippians 4:22 All the believers here send greetings to you. The people who work for Caesar send special greetings.

Philippians 4:23 I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will be gracious to you all.
