Psalms Chapter 68

Psalms 68:1 When God gets up, God will chases away all his enemies and everyone who hates God, they will run away.

Psalms 68:2 God, you chase your enemies and the people who hate you away like the wind that blows smoke away. The people who do wrong will disappear in front of God like wax which melts near a fire.

Psalms 68:3 But the people who live in the right way will be happy. The people who live right will sing to God and rejoice with gladness.

Psalms 68:4 Sing to God, sing and praise his name. Prepare the way for the one who rides on the clouds.  His name is Yah.  Worship before him with joy.

Psalms 68:5 God is a Father for the orphans and a defender for the widows. God is in his holy place.

Psalms 68:6 God provides homes for those who are lonely. God frees people from prison and makes them happy.  But those who turn against him will live in the desert.

Psalms 68:7 O God, when You started walking in front of your people, when You led them through the desert, Paulse and Think

Psalms 68:8 The ground shook and rain poured from the sky  when God, the God of Israel, came to Sinai.

Psalms 68:9 O God, You made a lot of rain fall all over the world, and You gave new life to your dry land again.

Psalms 68;10 The people who belong to You went to live there. You were good to them, O God. You took care of the people who were suffering.

Psalms 68:11 My Lord gave the command, and many people went to tell the good news:

Psalms 68:12 Kings and their armies have run away and fled. The women divided the plunder that the men had taken and brought it home.

Psalms 68:13 Even those who stayed at home in the fields with the sheep would get some of the treasures that the men had taken in the war, like images of doves that were covered with silver and their wings covered with gold.

Psalms 68:14 When the Almighty God chased the kings away, they were like snow that falls on Mount Zalmon.

Psalms 68:15 Mount Bashan, you are big, and you have a lot of peaks.

Psalms 68:16 Why do you look with envy, mountains with many peaks, At the mountain [of the city of Zion] which God has desired for His dwelling place? Yes, the LORD will dwell there forever.

Psalms 68:17 God has a lot of war-chariots, 20 thousands, God also has thousands of angles coming with them. He comes from Mount Sinai to his holy temple.

Psalms 68:18 Lord, when You went up the high mountain, You took prisoners with You. The people gave You gifts and You accepted them,

even from people who had rebelled against You, and You went to stay on the mountain.

Psalms 68:19 We want to praise the Lord. He helps us every day, and He saves us. Paulse and think

Psalms 68:20 He is our God, the God who saves us. My Lord God saves us from death.

Psalms 68:21 God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.

Psalms 68:22 God said, If my enemies run up to Bashan or down to the depths of the sea, I will bring them back.

Psalms 68:23 Then you can put your feet into the enemies blood and your dogs can drink the blood of your enemies.

Psalms 68:24 O God our King, everyone can see how You and everyone with You go to the temple.

Psalms 68:25 The people who sing are walking in front, the people who play music are walking at the back, and the girls who shake the tambourines are walking in the middle.

Psalms 68:26 Praise God where all of you are together in the congregation. The descendants of Israel must praise the Lord.

Psalms 68:27 The leaders of Benjamin, the smallest tribe, are also there. Then the leaders for council came from the tribe of  Judah. Then come the leaders of the Zebulun tribe and the leaders of the Naphtali tribe.

Psalms 68:28 O God, show your power and your strength that You have used before to help us.

Psalms 68:29 Kings will bring gifts to You, to your temple in Jerusalem.

Psalms 68:30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

Psalms 68:31 The leaders of Egypt will come.  Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands with the offerings of submission to God.

Psalms 68:32 People from all the lands on earth must sing to God, and praise the Lord. Paulse and think

Psalms 68:33 Sing to the Lord who rides through the sky, the heaven that has been there from the beginning. Listen, He speaks loudly, Listen to his powerful voice!.

Psalms 68:34 You must sing about the power of God, He who is King of Israel. He shows his power everywhere, and also in the sky.

Psalms 68:35 O God, You are amazing when You are in your temple. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people, and He makes them strong.
