Psalms 61

1O 1 God, hear my cry for help. Listen to my prayer.

2From a faraway land I call to you for help. I feel so weak and helpless! Carry me to a high rock where no one can reach me.

3I ask this because You have always protected me. You were like a tower where my enemies could not come.

4Let me live in your tent forever and protect me like a hen protects her chicks under her wings. Paulse and Think

5O God, You heard when I promised to give offerings to You. You gave me a place with the people who worship You.

6Please let the king live for a long time, for many generations.

7Let him rule in your presence forever. Protect him with your Mercy and truth.

8Then I will praise your name forever. Every day I will do what I promised.
