Psalms 99

1The Lord is King, and people tremble. The Lord sits as King between the cherubims, so let the whole earth shake.

2The Lord is great in Zion. The Lord is exalted above all the peoples

3Lord, let them praise your great and wonderful name. Your name is holy.

4You are the strong King who loves to be fair and righteous. You have made things right. You have brought goodness and fairness to Jacob.

5Praise the Lord our God, and bow down at the Lord's footstool, because the Lord is holy.

6Moses and Aaron were among the Lord's priests, and Samuel was among those who called on the Lord's name. They called out to the Lord, and the Lord answered them.

7The Lord spoke to them from the pillar of cloud. They obeyed the Lord's instructions and the law the Lord gave them.

8Lord our God, you answered them. You were a God who forgave them, but you also punished them when they did wrong.

9Praise the Lord our God, and worship at the Lord's holy hill, because the Lord our God is holy.
