Psalms 75

We praise you, God! We praise you because you are near to us. We tell about the amazing things you have done.

God says, I have chosen a time for judgment, and I will judge fairly.

The earth and all its people may shake, but I, God am the one who keeps it steady. Paulse and Think

To those who are proud I say, Stop your boasting, I warn the wicked, Don’t brag about how strong you are.

Don’t think you are strong enough to fight against God in heaven, and don’t boast or be stubborn.

No one can make you important, no one in the East or West, or in the desert.

It is God who judges people. God puts down one and lifts up another.

The Lord holds a cup of wrath in his hand. In this cup i are very strong herbs in it. God pours this cup of wine, and He gives it to those who do wrong. They will have to drink it all, until the cup is empty.

I will always talk about the God of Jacob and the things that He did. I will sing and praise Him.

God says, I will take away any power the wicked have and give it to those who are good.
