Old Testament
Psalms 66
All the people on earth, make a joyful noise and praise God.
Praise his glorious name! Honor him with songs of praise!
Say to God: The things that You do are awesome and fearfully glorious!, and they make people fear You. You are very strong, and your enemies fall down in front of You.
All the people on earth worship You. They sing and praise your name. Paulse and think!
Come and see the wonderful things that God has done. He has done amazing things to help all the people on earth.
God made a dry path through the Red Sea and let his people walk through it. Let us rejoice because of what God did.
God rules forever with his power. He sees what the nations are doing. No one should rebel against God and think he is stronger than God. Paulse and think
All people should praise God, and let everyone hear how you praise God.
God continues to give us life, and he keeps us from falling.
O God, You have tested us, and You have purified us, like people melt and purify silver in a fire.
You let us be trapped. You put heavy burdens on us.
You let our enemies run over us. We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a safe place.
I will come to your temple and bring burnt-offerings. I will do everything that I have promised,
the things that I said when I made a promise to You when I was in trouble.
I will give You burnt-offerings of fat animals and fire-offerings of sheep rams on your altar, and I will sacrifice bulls and goat-rams. Selah
All of you who fear God, come and listen. I will tell you what He has done for me.
I prayed to God with my mouth, God was highly praised with my words.
If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened
But God listened to me, and He did what I asked for.
I Praise God! He did not turn ignore me when I prayed. He continues to show his love to me!
