Galatians 6

1Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, then you who live by the Spirit should gently help that person back. And be careful, or you also may be tempted.

2Carry one another's heavy loads, and in this way you will obey the law of Christ.

3If anyone thinks they are something when they are nothing, that person is only fooling themselves.

4Each person should look closely at their own work. Then they can be proud of what they themselves have done, without comparing themselves to anyone else.

5For each person must carry their own load.

6Anyone who is being taught the word should share all good things with the teacher.

7Do not be fooled: no one can make fun of God. People harvest exactly what they plant.

8Whoever plants to please their sinful self will harvest ruin from that self. But whoever plants to please the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit.

9So let us not get tired of doing good. At the right time we will have a harvest, if we do not give up.

10So whenever we have the chance, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

11See what large letters I am using as I write to you with my own hand!

12Those who are forcing you to be circumcised are only trying to look good on the outside. They do it so that they will not be attacked because of the cross of Christ.

13Even those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves. They want you to be circumcised so that they can brag about your bodies.

14But I will never brag about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the cross, the world has been put to death to me, and I to the world.

15For it does not matter whether a person is circumcised or not. What matters is being a new creation.

16May peace and mercy be on all who live by this rule, and on the Israel of God.

17From now on, let no one give me trouble, for I carry on my body the scars that show I belong to Jesus.

18Brothers and sisters, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
